But our then 5-year-old lab decided it was time to "bust out" as it were. After too numerous "missing dog" occasions, I was lamenting the situation to an acquaintance who mentioned a similar problem with his two labs. He had great success with C No Pet and suggested we give them a call. From first contact I knew this would be a better experience. Response time to my queries was almost instantaneous. Bruce and Sue have broken the code with customer service. They are a pleasure to work with and stand by their product. As for the product, it is first rate. The opportunity to really tailor the environment to the pet is remarkable. The numerous field settings and collar settings make the system extraordinarily flexble. We now have a Bernese Mountain "puppy" as well and her collar was easily tailored to her needs and responses without affecting our lab. When you combine the company and the product, you end up with terrific value for the money. Whether you are comtemplating a new system or are dissatisfied with your current one, you owe to yourself to talk to these folks. We did and it gave us back our peace of mind!! I researched my options, and emailed three different companies. This one returned my email immediately (on a Sunday night) and called me first thing the next morning (the two other companies never bothered to contact me). Sue, one of the owners, explained all the fence's features to me, and was completely knowledgeable about their system's strengths, and how they compared with the competition: In short, I knew I was getting the best product for my money. From beginning to end this company will give your dog a better life...a life of safety and freedom. I can not tell you what it means to me to know that my dogs can be out side in their yard being able to run and play but remain safe from cars and other outside dangers. We live in a subdivision that does not allow containment fence and am also by a very busy street. We had to try it in order to keep our very active Husky home (they are runners)! I was amazed by how easy it was for us to adjust to the fence and how happy my dog was to be able to spend as much time as she wanted running in the yard. She became a different dog...happy and content, instead of always trying to find a way out! Now, we have had the fence for over 10 years, and we have had multiple dogs trained on the system. Each dog has easily learned the system and we cannot imagine living with our dogs any other way! The support and help from the very knowledgable and professional staff is also a huge plus. They are always available to answer a question or to help with any problem that arises. This is the very best thing that we have ever invested in for our four legged family members! Our vet used to endorse Invisible Fence and, after I told him about the MAJOR problems and bad service from IF, he checked out C-No Pet and couldn't believe the outstanding product they used. These are local people (so you're not calling Ohio for a service complaint) who CARE about the customer and sell a product far superior to Invisible Fence. Not to mention, they are a LOT cheaper. Do yourself a favor and call C No Pet when you're ready for a system. Then call IF and see for yourself how inferior they really are. By the way, rather than continue being treated shabbily by Invisible Fence, I changed my system to C-No Pet - even got a "rebate" for switching to them. In my opinion, I now have peace of mind. We were so happy with the fence we even moved the unit from one house to another and had the company come back and install it. We have definately tested their customer service as we've broken the fence more than once when excavating, and by adding dogs of all shapes and sizes. In every instance they have been helpful and professional. I have even talked through dog training problems and they have always been of great help. I highly recommend them! The staff is extremely knowledgeable about the under ground pet fencing and the training of your dogs. We have had great success with our fence. We have a fiesty German Shepherd and she took to the fence right away. She stays with in her boundaries and it just works great for us. The owners are very accomodating and really great to work with.
