I had been a customer at Posh Pets for about 2 years until I had a horrible experience with the owner. This was a convenient place to take my animals since it was located in my neighborhood; however, I just could not give my business to this miserable woman. 1. Each time I would walk in, none of the employees would greet me. They have no customer service skills whatsoever. If they do not know how to treat people, why would I trust them with my dog? 2. My cat is always nervous going to the groomers and constantly shakes as I hold him in the car ride. As I brought my cat into Posh Pets in my arms, the owner suggested that next time I should just put my cat in a PILLOW CASE as a way to calm him down. She was dead serious. Both me and my mother could not believe what this woman was suggesting. It really made me think what they do to my animals when I am not there. No animal should ever be put in a pillow case! 3. The last experience that put me over the edge was when I called to confirm a haircut for my dog, Bella. I have a Shihtzu that has a skin graph on her eye. I always make it a point that the groomer be extra careful around her eyes since they are highly sensitive. On this day, I was not able to bring Bella in so I had a friend bring her in. I simply called to give them proper instructions on how I wanted my dog's haircut along with the problem with her eye; however, the owner did not have time to talk to me. She was too busy with another client, yet she was able to answer the phone call. All I wanted was to explain my dog's situation quickly before I went into work. I am a concerned owner that wanted to make sure my animal was in safe arms. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS WOMAN YOUR BUSINESS! I took my bischon-cocker Arby there for the first time this week and Lynn & Heather made sure they understood exactly what I wanted. So nice, and such a big difference form some other places nearby. I had my border collie in on Wednesday to get her haircut, and I always bring my Yellow Lab there to get groomed as well. Everyone there is very friendly. I wouldn't take them anywhere else!!! I have boarded, groomed and set him for Day care and I cannot think of a better place for my pal. I absolutely have no reservations on leaving Budha with them. He loves it. He is all about the smiles!! Posh Pet is truely a godsend for me (and Budha)! Bailey, our 1 year old golden retriever has so much fun at daycare and she comes home at the end of the day exhausted! We have also used the grooming service, in which Bailey recieves a bath, nail trim and a Bow! The training services are very good and the 'lessons' are reinforced when Bailey is at the Posh Pet. We are very satisfied with the staff, facilities and care for our Bailey! All at reasonable prices too! MY Scooter knows that he is going to get groomed and gets his chain to go the car. the last place I took him to, when he came back he would be very angry. And if you knew my scooter he is the cutest little dog (I know ) sorry but . He would be a bad Mood. So thank you Posh Ladies!! I have also mention how helpful they are , scooter was having some skin problem and they Offer to bring him in and they would check him out, I was working, they worked it out for Scooter to get in there and make me and my dog feel better. You do a great Job please don't leave the neighborhood. They are affordable, they love animals (and it shows) and they have always returned Rocky with the cut that I want. Rocky does not like to be away from home and they are done in a reasonable time and he is happy when I pick him up. They are very friendly and run a great business. They have a variety of pet toys and accessories that are affordable and adorable. They are not the same toys that you would find in a major pet store. I recommend anyone that needs to find a great groomer to look no farther. Posh Pet Day Spa has been a long time coming. Its finally great to see a groomer that actually cares about your pet and treats your pet right. They treat you like you are a friend and they treat your pet like it's their own. Check it out. A place where the people really enjoy their job, is friendly ,and grooms Jerry to perfection. I have a very busy lifestyle so finding time to have my pet groomed is challenging. I've always called Lynn and asked for an A.S.AP appt. and she has accomodated me everytime under short notice. Jerry does not like to be away from home and can get a little cranky, but every time I've picked him up here he's been fine....happy! Lynn always sends Jerry out the door with free treats! What an outstanding business they run here. Clean, cheerful and true animal lovers. I hightly recommend Posh Pet Day Spa. Review Date: 10/23/2006 Service Date: 10/23/2006 Services Rendered: Doggy Daycare Comments: Posh Pet has been a god send to me and my dog Taz. Taz attends doggie daycare and absolutely loves it. I also do rescue work for the Midwest Lab Rescue and when I am fostering a dog I bring the dog to doggie day care and they love it too. Lynn will work with them if they are having issues with something. Taz has allegeries and needs special baths, I walked in and asked Lynn if she was willing to do it that day and she said sure bring him in. She is very accommodating to my needs and Taz's needs. I highly recommend everyone to bring their dogs to Posh Pet. You will not be sorry!!!!!!!!
